Description
When using Latex through Mathematics Filter, I would like to know whether there is a simple form to substitute the filter tags [tex] and [/tex] when entering math formulas by something shorter (like $$ as in other content management software). It would speed up the process of typing pages with quite a bit of mathematics. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Yeah this is a good idea. I'm currently working on my Masters AND working full time, so very little time available for active development. This is a relatively straight forward fix though, just a matter of adding a form field to the settings page, then adjusting the regular expression search so it depends on what choice is made.
