Description

Hi
this module is very effective for me. I love this module. But I m little bit worried about this module. I use one cck field as comment. There i problem that I have to also post in comment body. I want that only cck field need to be post and need not to write anything in comment body. How can i do that.

+1 for not requiring comment to be filled in to change a CCK field.

I meant by that - I too support your wish to be able to change a CCK field without entering something in the comment field.

+1 when a change has been made via comment_cck the body of the comment might be left empty

nevertheless it should be a configurable option, since many sites might want to require a few words to explain the reason of the change

while some other cases don't make sense at all to "require" a comment body, like change to whom an issue is "assigned" or such

this is also a dupe #375433: Option to override comment subject and body requirements
BTW that issue has a proposed patch and more debate
