Save a copy as node - parameters available?

I'm using the "save a copy as node", but find this limited.

I'd really like to be able to specify that if the email is being sent includes a specific catagory, then promote the copy to the front page.

For example, on my site we have ~9 catagories. As an admin, I'd like to be able to specify one or more components, and each time an email is sent, if the given catagory is specified, the email should also appear on the home page.
