Please explain how this module distinguishes itself from http://drupal.org/project/site_map to provide visitors with some guidance to choose the right module for their use case.

The Menu Sitemap module didn't exist when I needed this functionality for a site I was building, but now that I've developed a module with similar functionality and pushing it to the CVS repo, I've discovered your module! I think that we're trying to tackle very similar problems. Would you be interested in combining development efforts?
