Hi,
I'm starting to implement a web site in Drupal 6 that will make use of e-commerce, CCK, Organic Groups and other stuff.
I'm evaluating other hosting than the one I have now, and looking I found that Media Temple has good reviews from django (djangoproject.org) community. Being that now I start to work also with Drupal, anyone has experience with media temple?

Use their dedicated virtual service, do not use grid
I've built & maintained sites on both, and I will never choose grid for a Drupal website again. Drupal seems relatively database & php & memory intensive (forgive the redundancy) and grid's "pooled" MySQL server has been insufficient for these things. If you do not have funds for (dv) and go with (gs), make sure to add one of their MySQL Containers (starting at $20/month).
I will say that Media Temple has been outstanding when it comes to customer service and overall responsiveness to support requests -- much better than other companies we've used. They have pretty good documentation & forum-type help available (http://kb.mediatemple.net/), though it's sometimes hard to find what you need (once you do, though, it's almost always great).

as with above poster, I've had very good experience with MT Dedicated Virtual. wholeheartedly recommend them.
i agree that Drupal does not perform well with shared hosting. i've tried that with several other providers and it didn't work well.

all items in that original post remain true. performance has been nearly flawless - only one small glitch that was their fault (several that were mine). happened after a security update and they fixed it immediately once i told them about it. otherwise, i basically don't think about hosting anymore - and that's a very good thing.

I moved over to the (dv) about three months ago from RackSpace. I must say that I absolutely love it.
The customer service, in my opinion, is better that RackSpace's "Fanatical Service."
