This appears to be just the module I was looking for to allow my site users to flag and/or automatically unpublish suspect content on my website. Thanks for this!
I was wondering though if we could get a couple of additional positive actions over and above promoting to front page? I have all content run through the front page anyway, but I'd be interested in being able to have people moderate/vote on a post within this module in such a way that it gets something like star ratings or perhaps marked Popular or Hot or something.

Simple answer? Yes. Longer answer? Not JUST yet. There are a number of enhancements planned for the VotingAPI over the next month or two that will allow more complex sets of filtering criteria and additional actions (like adding a node to a publishing queue, moving it to the front page, making it sticky, emailing the author, etc etc).
It won't happen immediately, but this feature IS in the works.
