It would be nice if a secondary formatter could be used when the field is not displayed as editable (ehrn the user doesn't has the permission and when the chosen formatter is 'click to edit') instead of just using the default formatter.

Sorry, the patch doesn't works as expected since the editablefield formatters are loaded before many others. I guess there is no workaround from this approach (maybe a dirty hack?). Does anyone else has a different one?
