I'd like to use drush with a Drupal installation checked from the main repository via CVS.
Does the update command use CVS to update drupal core and modules leaving the opportunity to use the CVS in future upgrades?

use cvs_deploy module, and the read the help for drush updatecode. specify --package-handler=cvs
