I am developing a new site. I was hoping that someone could tell me which modules I should install to make this happen. I will explain what I'm trying to do...

I need a site where consumers will register as well as retailers. Retailers should have a completely different registration form and completely different looking profiles. Consumers will join as either a free member (with limited permissions) or as a paid subscriber (with more permissions).

Is this possible?

Regarding your question in another forum topic: I advice you to search these forums and Google for "Drupal vs. Joomla". The comparison has been made many times.

For paid memberships, you can use http://drupal.org/project/lm_paypal. When it comes to different roles and their profiles, I'm not sure if there is a perfect solution yet. Search and read: http://www.google.com/search?q=drupal+profile+per+role.

Thanks! I will do that search. I am having a hard time searching for them here. I keep on coming up with things that are not what I'm looking for.
