Default

I'm pretty new to building sites in Drupal, but have built a couple using the AD Blueprint Theme. This suits the layout requirements, but I have found that if I change something in the admin area such as the colour, set or fluid width or header image, the site defaults back to the original settings and therefore I lose any css changes made. Does anyone have any advice as to why this happens and to how it can be rectified, and/or to a similar theme to use without the same sort of conflicts when making changes. Many thanks. PS Responses in a non technical language please.

Changes to custom css in ad_blueprint

I have just started playing with the ad_blueprint theme so am by no means an expert. I assume you are changing the custom.css file. I have just started looking for the best way to override .css settings

If you look at the very bottom of the settings page for ad_blueprint under the Custom CSS Generation heading you will see

"This CSS is generated by the settings chosen above and placed in the files directory: sites/default/files/ad_blueprint/custom.css. The file is generated each time this page (and only this page) is loaded. Make sure to refresh your page to see the changes."

The file gets rewritten every time you make a change to the settings.
