views caching doesn't work with permissions ?

I've got a few views that are not anonymous-accessible.

Caching doesn't work for these views. More specifically, I get old information forever, with new information appearing weeks after the information is published.

This does not seem to happen if all the information is publically accessible, but with stuff hidden with (say) contentaccess, then the only fix I have is to turn off caching.
