Hello.

Here it is: Gameology.org. As the name hopefully suggests, it's a site for studying video games in an academic context. It's a custom theme, a few custom modules. Lots of work, but it's been fun.

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts, comments or opinions. Now that I've got more of a handle on Drupal, I feel like there are a few things I'd do differently if I had to start over again, but those will have to wait for Gameology 2.0, which won't be for a while.

I like it, but in my opinion you should lose the IFRAMEs and try to make the navigation and layout more consistent between different areas of the site.

They're actually divs with a fixed height and overflow:scroll, but point taken. Do you mean consistency between, e.g. the front page and the "inner" pages, or consistency between, for example a 'hub' page like http://www.gameology.org/commentary and a 'content' page like http://www.gameology.org/resources/cfps ?

Thanks for the input.

Drupal ecommerce, at www.drupalecommerce.com is a new site written using language that Drupal beginners and intermediate users can understand. It has about 300 unfinished pages. 2 tutorials for views module under "Modules"

Reviews are supplied by our contributors -- and actually most of them are by one guy who writes a lot. Generally speaking, most of our contributors are academics in some sense, where the goal is eventually a professorhood of some sort. I think we have 2 assistant profs, so far, and a couple more heading that way in the near future. The site, though, is for anyone interested in learning more about the subject or pursuing it at some level.

Thanks for the comment.

It's my own module, but it's really just a slightly tweaked story.module. I wrote it as separate so I could include the functionality of another module I wrote that attaches citations to node content. I later realized I could have done the same thing by just creating a nodeapi within my citations module, but by then it was too late. :)
