Hi,

I have a setup with fckEditor, ipetranslation and multi languages and I have the following issue: Sometimes when I edit a node, the content of a certain text area is duplicated. Sometimes it's a duplicate of another language body content and sometimes it's the content of the same language. I don't know this issue is related to ipetranslation, fckeditor or the sync-function. It mostly happens after I edit a text area, save it, and then go back to the edit form.

In the example I give you here it was the Dutch content that doubled. Sometimes it doubles in the text areas, but I don't see it because I'm editing another field.

I've posted an issue about this on the ipetranslation queue as well because I don't know which one causes the bug.

I know it's still in beta, but are you willing to try out version 2.0 of this module?

It might have to do with the in-place translation module. I have the feeling that when the content doubles it's always the first textarea gets doubled. The top textarea depends on where you come from. If you are on the dutch node view and go to edit, the Dutch textarea will appear on top.

It does not always happen. It happens alot, but I cannot precisely say when or why. It's a big bug in a production website, but to recreate this bug, I have to click around quite some.

I would love to give you more information, but it's difficult as i don't know what causes this bug. If you have any questions, just ask, I'd love to help.

I turned off fckEditor, and the problem persisted. I had to check that earlier, my bad.

I had not come around to testing it myself, and I'm glad you put some more effort in it yourself. If in the end it appears to be an FCKeditor issue, please reopen this ticket.
