I'd like to add a flash gallery to panels but need it in a block or a pane. I see no obvious way to make this happen. Any ideas?

Not sure if this helps you or not, but you can just go to yoursite.com/fgallery, choose your gallery, view source, find the javascript that loads the flash then copy and paste that into another content node. Worked for me.
