Hello,
I installed dashboard module and allowed only some group of users to create and manage dashboard.
Those who have no rights on dashboard can still view the dashboard link (though they could not create one) in the "create content" panel.

Is there a way to show the dashboard link only to those who have the needed rights ? Like when you authorise a page or a story to some users.

This is a general 'bug' in Drupal. IT happens to all modules that provide new content types.
