I'm sorry to ask such a silly question - but I'm trying to use the amazon module and cannot seem to find any documentation anywhere. I think I need to use the Amazon Media module in my site, but can't find any information about how to actually use it. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Amazon module documentation
Hey, good question. I had just jotted "Read Amazon module documentation" onto my Drupal "to learn" list when I saw your post. And I think you're right: there's no documentation to be found easily. (FYI, a Google search for "drupal amazon module documentation" places your post as the #1 hit. : )
There's a little documentation on Drupal.org for the Amazon Store Module:
http://drupal.org/node/494402
http://drupal.org/project/amazon_store
But I can't find documentation for the Amazon module itself. The module's own READ ME document only describes the inner workings a tiny bit, with no how-to info.
All I can suggest is the following pointer inside a comment at http://drupalmodules.com/module/amazon : "It doesn't have any documentation on how to use it but I found a lot out by visiting the issue queue and reading the user posts."
Any luck on your part in finding good info?

Amazon Module documentation
Nope, nothing yet.
It's frustrating. I've been working through one of the case studies in O'Reilly's Using Drupal and it's not working as shown in the book. I know for my particular application that I need to pull additional content down from amazon for my site and the Amazon Media module is what I need to use to do it, but I have absolutely no idea how to do it.
I know I can tear through the source code and learn how it works, but frankly I don't have time for that right now.

FWIW, I've posted some notes
FWIW, I've posted some notes on my experiences w/ Amazon on Drupal 6:

More to come soon, including tests of using the Amazon Store module.

It is in the works
The Amazon module documentation has begun now - It's linked to from the module page.
Any help will be appreciated.
Lots of updates to the module itself, as well, and lots of action in the issue queues. New version coming soon, and we should have a 1.0 release before long.
