Description

Thanks for the new release!
I'm wondering, though, if it would be possible to get a quick summary of what's new it before I take it for a ride? I probably missed some notes somewhere.

Sorry if it got your hopes up. Just a new translation that was submitted. Look for 2.0-dev by the end of the year though. Now that the main push for D7 is mostly done, I will be focusing on modules both new features, fixes, and D7 upgrades.

You can use CVS log for questions like this. It's requirement on Drupal.org that contributors provide meaningful commit messages (what was changed).

crea.... I appreciate that. I think there's a weakness in Drupal.org system in this area because I've been working with Drupal for over a year now and still don't really get what exactly CVS is or how to use it.... and what is the "release notes" link for if the notes are supposed to be "in CVS"?
So, I looked in the wrong place--I can see that. But finding this sort of info should be more intuitive. It's almost like it's hidden. There is probably a guide somewhere I should have read by now, but that seems to be hidden also.

All in all, my Drupal experience has been very positive, but one of the problems is that you have to have info on how to find info... and if you don't know how to find the info, you can't find the info on how to find info.
It's like a book in a box you stumble onto and the title is "How to find this book" :)

Fortunately, there's google... and I've come across piles of great stuff at Drupal.org that way.

Sorry for the little rant. I'm not sure who really needs to see it.

Well, CVS logs are more intended to be used by developers, rather than users. And asking question in support queue does no harm. And me telling you how to use CVS logs does no harm either :)

Nope. No harm. I'm still not sure how to find it though... I've got your link, but how does one get to the cvs log for each release?
... nevermind, found it: "View CVS Messages"
Well, that's not so hard. What was I whining about?
