Any plan on submitting a tool to haandle images including thumnails creation. Thinkung of uploading multiple images in a node and use Javascript tool to manage images.

Could you give more details on what you would like to see? How does this differ from e.g. the image_assist module?

It is preferable to use upload module in lieu of image module to upload multiple files in a page because of file handling and viewing issues.

Using upload module to upload multiple images in a node, then a Javascript tool could be use to generate thumnails, slideshow, etc.
