Sorry if this was already in scope. But I saw this module coming up and I was wondering if you please also would consider adding the term description to be an optional field to show in the block?

I'm more interested in finding and fixing bugs right now, but this would be an important feature, probably I'll start working on it this weekend.

Martijn I was able to work this weekend on some preliminary code for this feature, just an API function to show the description instead of the term name, before I release it or make a patch (probably I'll go with a 2.x branch because I rewrote the module) I would like to see an example of this since I can't find a reason to use the description of a term in a block but I could be wrong.

Hi Luis,

I would like the termname AND the term description (not instead).
The usecase is that the terms are shown in a block, but underneath, or to the right of it, the description is shown so that more specific to the user is shown what the term means.
The termname is in most of the cases in my opinion only one or two words, while the description holds the meaning of the term, right?
