CCK fields not being pre-populated

This module is working great for me - running Drupal 6.12 with Autosave 6.x-1.1 - however it's not populating CCK fields with the saved value. The serialized array for the CCK fields are js "objects" with the value for a single value CCK field in the [0] keyed place. When the function that loops through every field and calls "setValue" runs, none of the CCK fields are acted upon.
Has anyone else run into this and is there a fix?
