Module doesn't work on Drupal 6.14 as the "hide preview" checkbox doesn't show up in the workflow section on any content type.

Go to Administer -> Content management -> Post settings (/admin/content/node-settings). If the preview module is enabled there should be three options for the "Preview post:" radios:

Optional
Required
Disabled

This does not appear to be documented anywhere.
