I noticed the following after upgrading to 6.x-1.2:
Global meta tags/Default values/keywords - are only defaults: when you have set page specific keywords before, they are overwriting the default values. Instead of 1.0 behavior, when the global keywords were appended to the local keywords
In 1.2 I cannot find a possibility to set a really global keyword.

On one hand, its a nice feature, to have the possibility to overwrite a global keyword (for a new user)
But on the other hand, is a bad thing for a site owner who had set the keywords before on a different schema (and now has to append the global keywords manually /one-by-one/ on each node)

Any help would appreciated

To avoid a user overwrites the content of the meta tag Keywords, you can remove the permission to edit that meta tag to the rules that are not supposed to edit it.

Hi,

I think that ovewriting Default values with specific ones is conceptually correct. The point is about distinguish between Default and Global keywords sets. In 1.0 The user can somehow specify Global keywords, and they will be appended to content specific (or even Default, in principle) keywords.

Can you please reintroduce a similar mechanism, or explain how to achieve the old behavior with newer nodewords versions?

Thanks,
Antonio

I think it is possible.

Should the code reintroduce only the global keywords, or also other global meta tags?

The code has been changed, and committed in CVS.

Thanks for your report.
