Upgrading the version and understanding drupal a bit better, I would like to move the modules from
/modules
to
sites/all/modules

Moving is not the problem... :-) But where to enter the directory? What table or file?
Any hints are appreciated!

I would like to find the answer out to this one as well. I just took over as site admin and the guy before put everything in /modules.

I have one site running on my server, and really didn't intend on building any others.

Is it still not cool to have modules installed in the /modules/ directory as opposed to /sites/all/modules/ if you're only running one site? What are the repercussions?

And yea, if that's going to give me major issues in the future, I too am interested in a simple solution to move all my mods without killing my site.

I screwed up and did this on a new site. I put A bunch of modules in, can they just be "moved" ???
