It would be nice to see AJAX in Tiered Taxonomy Block and option to select default exposed term in parent vocabulary.

Thanks for your feedback. I will put your request on my ToDo list and see if they can be incorporated into 1.0 version. For now, if you want AJAX on your site, you can install DHTML menu module and put its CSS class by overriding the theme_tiered_taxonomy_block in your template.php.
