Did you know that some of the variables in the Advanced Profile Kit advanced_profile_author-pane.tpl.php are different to those used in the Author Pane module?
Two I have had to change are:
$contact to $contact_link
$user_relationships_api to $user_relationships_api_link
Others I have not fixed yet:
Online/offline status icons
Other icons
I have not used it enough to find others, just testing it out.

I forgot to update the template file with the changes to AP before the beta. Will take care of that before the next one.
