It's unfortunate that this module is not being updated anymore...
I noticed that the built-in database for countries need to be updated, since it is misrepresenting several of them.
e.g.: Argentina is represented by Bosnia and Herzegovina, Russia by Canada, etc.

This renders the module completely useless, yet it's a great module indeed.

I hope someone will come-up with a solution to this database update....please....

Thanks for updating the database. I downloaded the new version, activated it and even ran update.php. However the results are still the same. The countries are represented wrong.
e.g.: Brazil, Spain, Turkey are wrong while Canada, USA, France, Armenia are correct.

I am not sure if it's something on my site that is causing this or the DB.

I also installed the module ip2cc and although it's more accurate, but I prefer to use ip2nation to get more than the flag.

I got the same here.

ip2nation says that my friend is from Canada, but even RIPE shows that 212.142.97.111 is Latvia :[

This is because ip field in the database is not unsigned. IPs starting with a number grater than 127 will not be stored correctly.
