That option exists. The unit is taken from the default location, you can configure it under admin/settings/weather/default.

The only option that includes speed units in Default Location is for Wind Speed . The wind speed shows the correct units (MPH), but the distance to the weather station does not (km). See attached screen shots to see the settings we've made and the resulting block.

The distance unit is taken from "Visibility", which you've set to "Don't display". Therefore, the module falls back to the default metric units. Try to set "Visibility" to "UK Miles".

ahh. ok.

I would suggest that what might make more sense would be to have an overall default setting for 'units,' that affect any setting where you would have a choice. It's not really obvious (or intuitive) that the setting for the physical distance from weather station to actual location has anything to do with the atmospheric visibility of the moment...

at minimum, a separate setting for the distance units would be nice.

thanks.

This feature request implemented a bigger rewrite of the module, so I've implemented it in the Drupal 7.x port of the module. Currently, I don't have the time to backport this to the Drupal 6.x version of weather. However, when Drupal 7.x is released, the module should be available right from the start.
