Using with Content Profile module there is a problem with privacy status.
On registration page (provided by Content Profile User Registration) all "Hidden" fields are markup as "Public".

This issue was already fixed here #559714: Default privacy option not working for CCK Private Fields.

It is available in the -dev snapshot already. I was waiting a little before creating a new release.

I will create a stable 6.x-1.0 release in a few minutes, so you do not need to get the -dev if you don't want to. ;-)
