Does anybody have any documentation for the contact_manager.module that they can share?

I tried Googling it on this site, CivicSpace's site, and on the net in general, but I can't find any good info.

My specific question is how do you set/use the Source field in contact_manager?
The Volunteer module relies on that also.

But I'd also like to know how to use the contact_manager in general.

If anybody could help me out, I'd really appreciate it.

Contact_manager has been replaced by the full-fledged CiviCRM that ships with current civicspace installs so their really isn't much info. on using contact_manager since it is deprecated.

Someone gave me a link to the module, but it didn't come with any docs on how to administer it.

Shouldn't somebody who downloaded the module before it was deprecated still have a copy of the documentation somewhere?

Hopefully somebody still has it and can post it here.

Okay. As you can clearly see, I'm going nuts here. Can anybody spare me a copy of the docs for this module?
Or just tell me how to set/use the Source field in contact_manager? The Volunteer module relies on that also.
Or at least help me understand how to install this CiviCRM module as I wrote about here (please read):

You shouldn't build a new site on an unsupported function. CiviCRM or the other contact management modules, or the very simple "sign-up" module may be better options IMHO.

It used to be supported.
I'm just looking for the documentation that went along with it from when it WAS supported.
It should still exist somewhere.
