Description
I'd like to start translation groups for just-for-fun languages. I'm willing to lead them.
xx-bork (Swedish Chef from the Muppets)
xx-hacker
xx-klingon
xx-pirate
xx-lolspeak
If had to prioritize to add only one language to begin with, I'd prefer xx-lolspeak.

Frankly, I have somedoubts about whether you'll actually complete any of these, but otherwise I have no objections.
#2
It's just a way for us to have fun and enjoy ourselves. I figured we should just start with one of them.
#3
Yeah I totally agree that we should be considering Drupal's usability for Pirates, it's really lacking a translation :)
#4
Is Klingon script included in Unicode?
I guess that it should be more important to understand how many people would contribute translation on one of those languages. I think there are more people knowing Esperanto (there are even native speakers of Esperanto) than Klingon.
#5
Well I guess that would give the lolcat team about 6 months to get a translation done in time for 1 April... ;)
You should make translation of kitten module a priority too.
Might I suggest right now that the breadcrumbs be prefixed with 'I IZ IN YR'?
#6
Is one of the reported languages (or pseudo-languages) being added to l.d.o?
Frankly, I find hard to use a language that by design mostly contains war related words. What whould the Klingon word for Drupal be?
#7
Same as in any language, as it's a proper noun!
'To install Drupal, scythe your opponent's settings.php fearlessly!'
#8
I'd help with lolcat and pirate.
I think the translation of pirate should be achieved before Sept 19th 2010.
#9
I was really talking of Klingon. :-)

+1 to LULZ!

Created lolspeak team at http://localize.drupal.org/languages/xx-lolspeak
Please expect that there might be bumps in the service. You are among the beta-tester of this live instance. Thanks for helping out and please report issues as you find them! Your team members can now join and help import existing translations and work on more translations.
Also note that I've set this up so that it uses a controlled model (that group admins moderate translations). If you'd rather work in an open model (that everyone can directly submit translations), that is up to you and you can edit your group node to reconfigure anytime.
Welcome on board!
