Maybe during the upgrade to relative paths w/ Drupal 4.7, some of the links in the module pages got broken. for example, on this page:

http://drupal.org/project/image

The link to "Read documentation" points to http://drupal.org/project/handbook/modules/image

rather than the correct:

http://drupal.org/handbook/modules/image

Similarly at:
http://drupal.org/project/gsitemap

The link to "Read documentation" points to http://drupal.org/project/handbook/modules/gsitemap

rather than http://drupal.org/handbook/modules/gsitemap

You're right, it's a path issue. I fixed those two by adding a leading forward slash to the documentation field, but no doubt there are others. It would be useful to run an SQL update, like (untested):

UPDATE project_project SET documentation = concat("/", documentation) WHERE documentation LIKE 'handbook/%';
