percent complete bar for profile? (similar to sites like linkedin)

When users sign up for my website, I only make them fill out basic fields upon registration (name, email, age)

After users are registered, they can go to their profile, they can click "Edit" and find tabs for additional information to be voluntarily filled in. The only problem is that users don't really seem to notice these other tabs with additional fields. I'd like to do something to call attention to them without forcing them to be filled out in the registration process.

There is a progress bar feature that sites like linkedin have. I believe linkedin says something along the lines of "You are **% of the way to having a complete profile!" in red. If you click on the link, it will show you what you have to fill in to complete your profile and remove that message.

I was wondering if anybody knew of a module that might be somewhat similar that would allow me to create a progress bar that tells you how much of your profile information you have filled out?

also - i'm not sure if it matters, but I'm using the advanced profile kit, so if there isn't a module available for this and somebody has a suggestion as to how I could manually create something like that... i'm all ears

Thanks in advance!

I'm looking for folks to help me out by posting in my Coulee Region forums. You don't need to live in the area; there's plenty of general forums. But please, no Drupal support questions. :)
