How to get write access to the repository?
CVS returns

cvs [server aborted]: "commit" requires write access to the repository

if I try to commit files.

You have already CVS access to the project repository. If you have any problems, open an issue report in the Drupal.org webmasters queue (or use this link).

This queue is only used for CVS approval, and most of the people who can help you doesn't read it.
