I'm not sure if this isn't possible with the Rules module, but I can't see an event that would simply be 'viewing node' or something to allow me to redirect people from, say an Organic Groups node to a Panel node (which I'm using to display the group rather than the default group page).

Can you do simple view-node redirects with Rules? Better yet, allow just a certain user role to experience the redirect?
