Once Install CCK, Dynamic Display Block stops displaying its pictures. I was wondering if you have ever encountered this? Do you have an idea of what can be installed that seems to be crazing another module?

greg.harveyYou say once you install CCK? Not CCK Gallery? Please disable CCK Gallery and see if your Dynamic Display Block module functions again. Let me know. I can't think of anything off hand that CCK Gallery does which might cause this. Carrying out this simple check for me will confirm/deny this.
If the problem is with CCK then you will need to raise an issue in *their* queue.

blakbro2k6 commentedSorry typo, it is after I install CCK Gallery that DD Block no longer displays its images. I have tried it with 3 different instances now and each with the same result. I install Drupal and minimumb requirements to get DD block working. once I activate CCK Gallery the image is no longer loaded.
<h2 />is put in the img tag's place. I have put this issue on their site as well to see if anyone else has run into the same issue.Comment #4
greg.harveyStrange - I've never used Dynamic Display Block before, but I'm surprised anything CCK Gallery can do would interfere with anything - at the end of the day it's a very simple module. I'll look in to it when I get a chance. If you need faster progress than this, you'll have to try and get someone else to look at it - unfortunately I'm too busy with client work right now to do any free module development. =(

blakbro2k6 commentedThat is quite alright, I put this also on the DD Block support page as well. What I am going to end up doing is rebuilding the site from scratch. Content wise that is, then install the DB back up module so this way if this happens again, I can recover. Believe me, I understand client work is much more important. Thanks for your responses.

greg.harveyNo problem - wish I had more time to devote to my modules - there are a number of things I'd like to do, but at the moment I can't do them unless a client wants them. =(
Back-up wise, this module might help you: http://drupal.org/project/backup_migrate

greg.harveyI have no time or intention to delve deeper in to this for now. I won't close it, so if someone who is CCK Dynamic Display Block + CCK Gallery is having issues and wants to take this on, please do. It's too much of an edge case for me to handle though and I have no experience with the former.

greg.harveyNever really worked this out, anyway, this module is not being developed any more. See project page for alternative or search for related Features.
