Is it possible to delete attached files or files added to the node via CCK FileField? I want nodes to expire, but also have the files associated with the node to be deleted to prevent orphaned files. Any help appreciated.

This is an issue for filefield. Marking as duplicate of #246515: Delete FileField Content when field is deleted..
