Sorry for asking this question, because a similar one already exists, but with no answer.

How can I do general changes in the style.css. The one in the sites/all/themes directory doesn't have any affect at all. And for the important one, in the sites/default/color directory, I have no writing permissions. And I'm also not allowed to change permission. Where's the fault in my thinking? I'm sure, the solution is obvious, but I can not find it. Sorry.

Sometimes, when I'm trying to find a solution, I'm so focused, I'm unable to see the simplest connections. That was so obvious, that it was not worth an answer. Thanx for doing it so rapidly.
