I am experiencing huge memory problems after upgrading (twice) to 6.14
I have only 13 modules installed: (I hope they work cleanly in 6.14!)

How much memory should I need?
Is there a memory problem with 6.14 or 6.14 in association with any of these modules
Problem identified
The excessive RAM demands seem to have been caused by bug in GD module concerning image files without colour indexes, as discussed here:
http://drupal.org/node/219761
In any event, installing imagemagick seems to have made the problem go away.
