5 minute multisite using Cpanel http://drupal.org/node/348619 should follow the guidance of http://forums.cpanel.net/f4/can-we-add-ssl-certificate-add-domain-124977... as I have tested this to work. It will not affect /scripts/upcp or /scripts/rebuildapacheconf. The drupal owner will have to specify the exact document root from /sites/all/

you can edit the documentation in order to better flesh out the method.

I'll offer to edit the whole page and embed a youtube video that I'll create.

All information in a video has to be available in the text for people with visual impairment, people with low bandwidth access, and people who print documentation as a checklist.

The information in forums.cpanel.net/f4/can-we-add-ssl-certificate-add-domain-124977.html will change the 5 minutes to 10 or more minutes and looks like it will require work outside of cpanel. I suggest adding a new child page to cover SSL certificates including an explanation of how they work so people understand the different types of certificates on offer, given that there are certificates advertised for for multiple domains.

People are already confused between domains, subdomains, add on domains, and parked domains. They will be even more confused if the certificate does not match up to what they expect. Again I suggest a child page instead of complicating the current page for the many people who do not use SSL certificates when they build their first sites.

Old issue - peterx made some edits in 2009 - but nothing from strikehawkecomm. (And I believe the changes suggested would be better suited for another sub page.
