Hi,

i just installed a fresh installation of aegir 0.4 alpha (drupal 6.14) and tried to import a site following the documentation: http://groups.drupal.org/node/25127

The site i wanted to import is "trashme.XXX.com" (maybe it was a bad name for testing)

In the aegir backend i can see a task: import aegir.XXX.com and a site aegir.example.com

In the vhost directory i can find "aegir.XXX.com_80" & the "trashme.XXX.com_80" and the original "aegir.XXX.com"

The trashme site can't be found in the aegir backend. The new "aegir" site can't be verified because apache now gives a warning on restart

[Wed Sep 30 20:17:35 2009] [warn] _default_ VirtualHost overlap on port 80, the first has precedence

Good luck debugging the alpha release...

There shouldn't be an "aegir.XXX.com_80" as well as the original "aegir.XXX.com" .

Try removing the latter and restarting apache and if you still get the vhost overlap message?
