Hello,
I've just installed CCK version 6.x-2.5 for the first time (so I don't have issues with upgrading from version 5.x). I get the following error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function content_field_instance_read() in /home/niftep/public_html/sites/all/modules/CCK/content.module on line 1475

I see elsewhere on this site that there's a patch for this problem: 2.3-cck-update-482774.patch.

However, I don't know what to do with this patch. When I click on the link, it's just lots of code. Do I overwrite something in the CCK files with this code?

Help would be appreciated.
