Come together with the global Drupal community in Rotterdam, 28 Sept – 1 Oct 2026. Sessions, contribution, connection, and Early Bird savings until 8 June.Hello, was wandering if would be possible to use this nice mod to sort nodes by role of creator.
This could be usefull for different scopes as:
1. Sort nodes by role on hierarchical sites, where administrators/editors content has to be more relevant over users/anonymous
2. Sort listings or classifieds by the role bought by the advertiser (base, premium, top)
3. Give posts of a certain role (ex: administrator) particular visibilityin the site.

if you really feel you need this, make a case and i'll reconsider :)

moshe weitzman commentedyou want Views for this. If you want non alphabetic sorting, you will need role_weight module and will need to hook that into Views - http://drupal.org/node/58136

marcoBauli commentedactually discovered the role_weights some weeks ago and am happily running it togheter with Views to achieve my scope: works like a charm :)
