Before displaying the mail body, it should be encoded in utf-8. I'm getting weird characters if umlauts and special characters are part of the e-mail.

Hm, yes, like the previous, I may need an example email to diagnose/patch this one.

There are a few encoding/decondings I currently do, so i'll dive in and see if its one of those functions doing funny things too.

Could you email me a sample email so that I can test utf8 encoding? Perhaps you could make one that is giving you funny chracters, etc.?

Is there any way to send mail default by UTF8 encoding?
We have the problem on drupal.org too (with UTF8) and hope them fix this problem soon.
