if beautytips "Display Text input popups" is checked. compact forms will not work.

I've noticed the same issue. Specifically, with Compact Forms enabled along with Beautytips, the field labels do not fade when a text box is selected, nor do the Beatytips for that form appear. I think the modules would make an ideal complement to one another, if this issue could be resolved.

Quick workaround.... set BT to hover instead of focus.

Beautytips contributes a lot to Compact Forms, thanks for the tip.

Focus and Hover seem to both work for me.

Complete tangent of a thought, but on touch screens, how is "hover" handled? If set to "hover" does that mean touch screens do not get a beautytip?
