Issue Summary
I realised that it was not possible to see the people following the active user through this view (view fl_manage). The followers were coming empty where they should not.
It took me ages -unfortunately- to trace origin of the problem. At least, I learned how friendlist is working back and front end=).
In the followers tab of the view fl_manage, Statuses filter was selected as "OW_2_TO_1 or OW_BOTH". However it is supposed to be "OW_1_TO_2 or OW_BOTH" as the first filter shows whou you are following, not your followers.
It seems lke I did not write it too clearly bu I hope you understood.

PS: I have done a little too much install/uninstall in my sandbox. If you cannot recreate it, then maybe it was related to my installation. In that case, sorry about that.

Thanks for the information. I just installed friendslist and imported my buddylist to it. In the tables of the database all the data is imported correctly. When viewing the "community" tab from a use (even admin) there's nothing in it. When editing any of these views the data that should be there appears before I've even edited (in the "display" part of editing a view). AFter editing the data is there in "display" part of the viww. Going back to the user and community tab again.... nothing.
At least I know now that I'm not alone trying to figure freindslist out. ;)

Thanks so much for taking the trouble to point that out.
It was a problem with mine too, and the 2_1 / 1_2 stuff is so confusing it would have taken me forever to figure it out!
