I've just refactored the welcome.inc stats to a reusable block, so I can put it on pages like the news page, which would let people visiting that now the extent of the work being done here. It could do with more styling of the numbers and maybe linking to projects and groups, but already allows to highlight cool data elsewhere then the homepage.

Minor update. Forgot to rename variable of groups stats to array change. Committed this one too.
