edit contents of node as macro

Hi all
Which modules will make possible me:
Users with given capabilities can, add the proposal of the changes of some article but
after finishing the edition, they are saved only differences among original and their as the macro.
Next: the author of the article can choose and apply individual macros in the article.
Please help me :)

Here's one idea: Use the Diff
Here's one idea: Use the Diff module to track changes, and set up a workflow with triggers / actions or hook_nodeapi to roll back the node to a previous revision when users of the restricted role makes changes, then either send an e-mail or flag the node for review.
