After clean install of 6.x-2.0 (without upgrading from 6.x-1.x) everything works fine except showing "Site Counter:" values. To make "Site Counter: value" work, I overrode 6.x-2.0 with 6.x-1.x, ran update.php and again overrode 6.x-1.x with 6.x-2.0.

Is it a bug?

Fixed available now, please download Counter 6.x-2.1.
6.x-2.1: Bug fix: fresh install of Counter not work if counter_data has no record.

This version simply run update 6000 and 6001 on fresh install, mean you can fix this bug by running http://domainname.tld/update.php then select update 6000, repeat again this step to execute update 6001 of Counter module.
