I was told that all new themes are being vetted. Just wondering if there is any information availble about this process and the status of my theme. I am currently waiting for something to happen, such as the project release be approved or removed.

And the forum topic that I found this information at:

thank you,

avpadernoIt does not result that all projects are being vetted.
It's not then clear what you mean by approved or deleted; you have already created your project, and there are not issues open against it, in Drupal.org webmasters queue. We don't then delete projects, but we mark them as unpublished.

avpadernoI am changing the title of the report.

avpaderno@silverhosting: You are still getting the same error. I noticed that you are committing code under , but the short name of the theme is .
Correct me if I am wrong, but the name used is case-sensitive.
avpadernoI changed the short project name to , which matches the directory name used to commit the code.

dave reidPlease CVS remove all your files from the /themes/Fall directory and re-start the process with the correct /themes/fall path. I'll be on this to help you if you need it.

silverhosting commentedthank you. I think this time I will be recording my screen as I go. So if I make any mistakes, I can go back and check what did wrong. I will upload it to my website, and put a link here.

vm commentedKiam and Dave,
just a note from the forum thread linked that the themes being uploaded are artiseer prefabs.
The question at hand is ... How to deal with cookie cutter prefabs? Have we not removed projects in past solely because they were prefabs?

WorldFallz commentedYes we have-- and this goes back to the groups.drupal.org discussion on theme policy. The sooner we decide and/or publish that policy the better.
Personally, however, I've been getting beaten up a great deal lately anytime I stand up for the integrity of drupal.org. Why toxic trolls who've contributed nothing should be allowed to derail an important and necessary policy discussion by webmasters is beyond me-- sorry, but I'm not really inclined to pick up this flag again.
I don' have particularly have a problem with 4 themes with a theme (summer, fall, winter, spring). But it does beg the question of where do we draw the line? That's why my original thought was no to artiseer altogether. Its just easier.

silverhosting commentedI am only going to work on fall, not autumn. I am trying to delete it autumn.

avpadernoI agree that we should not accept Artiseer themes. It is not a question of how many themes a single maintainer would commit in CVS; we could have 10 people uploading 10 of such themes, 100 people uploading an Artiseer theme, or 1 person uploading 100 themes, but the effect would be the same (we would have 100 themes that are created by clicking on some buttons of a user interface).
I apologize for not having understood what kind of theme we were talking of.
