I have some new Content Types that I'd like to classify by Category and Subcategory.

Is there a way I can make a hierarchy with Taxonomy Terms or Vocabularies (or some cool module I haven't heard of), that will allow me to do this?

IDEALLY, I'd like to be able to create a new piece of content, have a dropdown with Categories, select one, and then be presented with sub-categories.

Then I'm going to create Views to help me traverse this hierarchy.

Is this possible?

It's for hundreds of records, and 10 categories, each with 10 subcategories, so I could create 10 taxonomy vocabularies I guess, but I was hoping for something a touch more programmatic.
